Journey of the Vintage Threads

Hoorrayy....I got the vintage threads today!!
I bought cool and colorful vintage wood thread spools from 'EitherOrFinds' Kris's shop on Etsy.
and not only threads I get, but FRIENDSHIP!
Glad to found generous, kind and nice people on Etsy :) Kris wrote our story on her blog.

It's amazing to imagine that they had traveled so far around the globe!

I plan to use the thread for quilting the top of my first 'I-Spy' quilt.

This is a block I made for Kathryn, a friend from my bee quilt group 'Sew and Bee Happy'. February was her month and she asked for a Rainbow Starbust block. Each of us from the group pick one color for her. I pick light pink and here is the result.

I'm falling in love with all these petite pouches...
I bought a pattern online about a month ago and tried to make it last week.
I can't stop since then...

played with polka dots,

stripes,
and ribbon.
Hopefully you won't get boring to see many more of them in my next post :)
